20th anniversary of “Junior Eurovision” song contest
The 5th of December became a real fairy tale for the citizens of Armenia and the guests of Armenia. They witnessed the opening ceremony of the annual song contest “Junior Eurovision” and the lighting of the main Christmas tree of the country. The celebration was a double holiday for everyone as it was the 20th anniversary of the “Junior Eurovision” song contest.
The audience enjoyed the festive musical and the red-carpet ceremony organized by the Government of RA, Yerevan municipality, Public TV and the “Background Production” company.
The hosts of the event were Dalita, who presented Armenia in “Junior Eurovision 2011”, Aram MP3, who presented Armenian in “Eurovision 2014” and TV and radio host Hamlet Arakelyan.
Winners of the “Junior Eurovision” of different years arrived to Armenia and took part in the concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the song contest.
All the 16 participants of the contest walked down the red carpet into the National Historic Museum of RA to participate in the draw, that decided their sequence of performance.
People enjoyed the musical about the eternal battle between the good and the bad, where the good wins and the fairy tale characters, together with the contestants, spin the magic, the symbol of the “Junior Eurovision 2022” – the spinner.
“Background Production” was also the venue producer during the “Junior Eurovision” song contest main event that took place in Sports and concert hall after K. Demirchyan, as well as the company was responsible for the whole branding of the venue.
